It’s World TUBERCULOSIS Day on Sunday the 24th March!

What is TB?
TB is an infectious disease that usually affects the lungs, but can also affect the stomach, brain and spine. Instead of TB being referred to as being infectious, it is instead sometimes referred to as being contagious. This basically means the same thing. It means that TB can be spread from one person to another.

Educating people about TB is also an important part of TB prevention, as well as ensuring that people who need treatment receive it as soon as possible.

Visit www.tbfacts.org for all the information on TB, so that you can prevent and protect yourself and your community! Let’s get educated on TB!
